War is now ‘normal’, says former Eastern Europe leader

Australian officers Colonels Kelvin and Cheralynne Pethybridge led the Eastern Europe Territory, including Ukraine, for more than five years.

Australian officer Colonel Kelvin Pethybridge, who served as the Territorial Commander of the Eastern Europe Territory (EET) from April 2018 until December 2023, speaks in a radio interview from London on how the abnormality of war in Ukraine, part of the EET, has become normal.

The interview coincided with the past weekend’s sober two-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022.
