• Army officers missing in Myanmar

Majors Lalthanmawia and Rualthanpuii have been missing since 19 December last year.

Salvationists around the world are praying for the safety of two officers who have been missing in Myanmar since mid-December.

Majors Lalthanmawia and Rualthanpuii are officers of the Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand Territory.

They are serving in Myanmar and were last seen travelling from Tahan to the Mizoram border in the north-west of the country on 19 December 2025.

The territory has engaged search parties to locate them and is asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to come forward.

“We remain steadfast in prayer for their safety and ask you to join us in keeping them in your thoughts and prayers,” a post on the territorial Facebook site says.
