• Busy bees in the Illawarra

Community members and customers of the IMB Bank in the Illawarra region of New South Wales have been busy this festive season gathering donations of gifts and non-perishable food items for The Salvation Army.

Donations will go towards The Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer operation in the Illawarra area. Local corps are expected to assist more than 500 families with food and toys.

“The IMB Bank has been a long-term supporter of the Salvos,” says Karen Walker, Salvation Army regional Public Relations and Fundraising Manager. “It’s great to have local businesses supporting local communities, particularly this year when so many people are doing it tough.”
