• Eastern Europe marks Easter



 Salvation Army corps across Eastern Europe held services and special activities for Orthodox Easter – based on the Julian calendar many religious holidays still adhere to.

 

The celebrations took place on different days – but the same spirit was present across Good Friday and Easter Sunday services as people praised God for forgiveness and eternal life that the death and resurrection of Jesus brings.
