• Global prayer – Uganda
Each week throughout this year, Salvationists around the world are uniting in prayer for a particular territory or region of The Salvation Army.
Prayer requests are shared by the focus territory/region to help us pray with precision and power for one another.
This week (2-8 September) we are praying for the Pray for the Uganda Territory.
This territory is made up of 15,277 senior soldiers, 687 adherents and 8376 junior soldiers. There are 98 corps, 37 outposts, 164 officers (134 active and 30 retired), 24 cadets and 58 employees.
As well as the corps and outposts, the Territory runs an Officer Training College, a home for children with physical disabilities, vocational workshops in carpentry and tailoring, an anti-human trafficking ministry, and training in food security and economic empowerment.
Please pray for:
· Financial stability and prosperity in the territory.
· New ministry opportunities in Adjumani, Ibanda and Kampala.
· Our territorial programs – that they will be successful and impactful.
· The ordination and commissioning of the Defenders of Justice Session, which will take place on 8 December 2024.
