Last week (19 August) The Salvation Army joined nations around the world to observe World Humanitarian Day – honouring those who step into some of the world's most difficult situations to serve others with compassion, courage and hope.
The Salvation Army also stands alongside the millions of people whose lives have been dramatically changed by events beyond their control.
In the video below, Salvation Army humanitarian workers share why their faith-based approach makes the difference in what they achieve and what values fuel their efforts. In a world where global challenges are great – individual acts of kindness can make a world of difference.
