Standing Together: Red Shield Defence Services

The Salvation Army’s long history of supporting those affected by war continues each year on Remembrance Day. For 125 years, The Salvation Army’s Red Shield Defence Services have supported Australian soldiers through global conflicts, offering comfort, compassion, and camaraderie. From providing refreshments and morale-boosting chats to life-changing acts of kindness and reconciliation, the Salvos have been there, sharing the journey with those in service, embodying their enduring motto: "The Red Shield will find a way."
