Tuesday Toasties at Marion Corps (SA) began as a one-off event for Anti-Poverty Week and has evolved into a beloved weekly program, bringing together people from all walks of life over delicious cheese toasties and barista-made coffee. “Tuesday cheese toasties has taught me that it is so important just to sit and to listen,” says Major Chris Clarke (Corps Officer, Marion). “It is a time to clear the calendar and engage with people, and this has been life-giving.”
