• Voice Yarning Circles
A series of online Yarning Circles will be held throughout August for personnel and Salvationists to learn more about the Voice and to ask questions in a safe and respectful space.
A Yarning Circle is an ancient form of speaking that has been practised by Aboriginal people and many Indigenous peoples from around the world for centuries. Aboriginal people have used this method as a form of decision-making, as building and strengthening relationships and as a way of giving and sharing knowledge from a collective group.
The aim of the Yarning Circles is to encourage constructive dialogues on Voice in a safe space that is inclusive, respectful and considerate.
