• Advent resources from IHQ
International Headquarters (IHQ) is encouraging Salvationists around the world to engage with each other and prepare their hearts for the Advent season this year (1-24 December).
The IHQ team is extending the invitation to spend time in the opening verses of John’s Gospel, exploring what these verses reveal to us about who Jesus is – the Word, Creator, Life, Light, Immanuel, God with us.
“Our hope is that in this Advent season, in the midst of Christmas preparations, celebrations and busy schedules, you will encounter Jesus and the significance of his arrival for all of humanity,” the team writes.
The resources are available in Chinese, English, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili and Tamil.
