In Maroubra, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, a Salvation Army men's ministry is providing a safe space for men to talk about faith and mental wellbeing. "As Christians, we believe that men's ministry is really important," says Lieutenant Keven Williams, Corps Officer at Eastern Beaches Salvos. Through regular gatherings around a meal, men are able to connect with one another, open the Bible together and share honest conversations about life’s joys and challenges.
