• UK Salvationists march for Earth

A group of UK Salvationists joined other Christians in a pilgrimage to Parliament House, London, on Earth Day.

A group of Salvationists and supporters took part in the #NoFaithInFossilFuels worship gathering and pilgrimage to the Houses of Parliament in London at the weekend – part of #TheBigOne climate rally.

The Big One climate protest aimed to bring 100,000 people to protest outside parliament on Saturday 22 April 2023 (Earth Day), with a Christian service and pilgrimage to Westminster on Friday 21 April.

Care for Creation is one of five mission priorities of The Salvation Army in the United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, and Salvationists joined with other faith organisations to praise God, pray for national and global leaders, and show that they want decisive action to tackle the climate crisis.
